Emby iOS App Offline Use

Hello. I have been using Emby on Android for a while now. I keep my Emby server local access only. So this means that when I leave the house I have to download music to my phone from within the app. This works great, except it takes a while for the app to finally give up looking for the server and just give me access to downloads on the device.

My partner is using the iOS app and enjoys using it at home, but cannot get the app to open at all when they leave the house. The blue line circles nonstop and never allows her to bypass it and go to the downloads. It is as if it never gives up looking for the server.

(Unrelated note, can we please get an option for "Artists" on the downloads page within the app? We can select music, but then only albums or songs. If I have discography's of multiple artists on my device this can get cluttered quickly)

I have an iOS Shortcut on my phone, as I'll frequently watch content offline when away from home. The Shortcut essentially has my phone shut off Mobile Data, open Emby, wait 15 seconds or so, then turns Mobile Data back on. While my Mobile Data is off, I can quickly access the Downloads section. Give it a shot!

I have since setup Plex again just for music and I am using Plexamp. It isn't perfect but it has some nice features. I am still using Emby for my videos.

I know that she is not on the most recent iOS version and is trying to avoid upgrading. She had just installed the Emby app when I was testing this so it would've been the most recent version on the app store at the time.
