I have TrueNAS 25.04 running the emby app version: v4.9.2.6 / v1.3.44. I can stream movies and music to an Android tablet without problems.

I have a Samsung UN55F7500 smart TV with the emby app v2.2.8. I have successfully connected the TV app to my TrueNAS media server and logged on.

However, when I navigate my media with the app and try to play a movie a connection error box pops up on the screen with a http GET to e.g. http://host3:9096/emby/Videos/249/Stream.ts?VideoCodec=h264&Profile=high&Level=41&MaxVideoBitD.... I get basically the same error regardless of the movie.

I can select and play music from my media server through the tv app.

I attach the emby server log.

Hmm, version 2.2.8? Is that the legacy app? Does this TV run the Tizen OS?

That's a 2013 Orsay TV.

OK @Nick2020unfortunately at this stage we no longer have a supported app for your device. Officially we never did. I think you have the old community app installed.

Sigh!

Shame as the TV picture etc is still good. I guess I'll have to run the emby client on some intermediate device with the TV as display.

Thanks.
