Audio becomes out of sync when skipping forward

This is still occurring for me. I am running the latest Android app on an ODROID N2+ so I don't think it's device specific, but I only have issues with video that's MPEG2 DVD rips. Has there been any headway on addressing this besides just skipping back? Are there more logs needed to diagnose the problem?
