I also use the standard app on Nvidia Shield, AFR works but it doesn't work for binge watching, i.e. the second episode falls back to the default frame rate.

Okay, pls let me know what I could provide additionally.

Setup: Nvidia Shield Pro ("latest" model), running Emby for Android 3.5.12.

Playing DV UHD content with 24p on a Philips TV, app is configured tp match framerate but not resolution.

1st episode plays fine, no stuttering, 24p but I if I press "watch next episode" at the end of the 1st one, the screen is changing for a second to show the series wallpaper and then the next episode starts, this time with my GUI default framerate of 60.

My TV shows the actual frame rate, so the values are not guessiing. I think, it only happens if I press "watch next episode" but I haven't found a pattern yet.

24p content, I clicked "watch next episode" and it started in 60 FPS (which is my default Shield frame rate).
