sa2000 674 Posted November 3, 2025 Posted November 3, 2025 @PixelWizard Could you run with Scheduled Task: Scan Media Library disabled and see how that compares. But do please enable emby server debug logging and restart the servers after that so we have new logs with debug enabled from the start Thanks
Solution Happy2Play 9780 Posted November 4, 2025 Solution Posted November 4, 2025 On 10/31/2025 at 10:11 AM, sa2000 said: @CaseyP @Happy2Play This has now been referred to the development team The issue does appear to be related to the notifications through websockets for the "Now Playing" sessions and it does appear that transcoded playback has much larger payload in these websocket notifications Until this is addressed, my advice would be to have the MS Edge setting for System/Performance "Put inactive tabs to sleep after a specified amount of time" set to a high value edge://settings/system/managePerformance Is this using Microsoft Edge ? Or reproducible with Google chrome as well. If it is, please let me know the steps to go through to reproduce Thanks As a follow up to this I just created an exception for my connections and have not seen this memory issue since. I will retest with LocalIP and WANIP. 1
