marauder 17 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 How does MediaBrowser handle Movies with the same name? For example, Casino Royale 2006 and Casino Royale 1967. I have been differentiating by including the year in the file name and folder such as, Casino Royale - 2006 for the folder and Casino Royal - 2006 - 720p.mkv. Is this the correct convention or does MB3 have a built in method.
Luke 42077 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 using the path, so what you're doing should be fine.
marauder 17 Posted November 29, 2014 Author Posted November 29, 2014 Ok thanks, Aslo, realized after I posted I had another questions. For 3D can that go under the same folder as the none 3d version. Does it have to have the same name? and are the brackets required? For example, /Avatar:Avatar - 720p.mkv Avatar [hsbs] - 720p.mkv or can I do: /Avatar:Avatar - 720p.mkv Avatar 3D hsbs - 720p.mkv
Luke 42077 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 it has to be the same name, and we support what's listed in our media wiki, and as of the latest release we also support Kodi's 3d conventions, which haven't made it into the wiki yet.
marauder 17 Posted November 29, 2014 Author Posted November 29, 2014 Ok. I was reading the wiki on all the formating, just wasn't sure with the 3D if the backets were required same with the same name. I figured the name would have to stay the same, but figured I'd check.
