joshuakay92 0 Posted October 24, 2025 Posted October 24, 2025 (edited) I can not get my TV shows to appear on my EMBY, when they previously I had no issues. When I add a library, it allows me to select the relevant folder ( D:\TV) but will not add files and will do a library scan in under a second and not add anything. I have checked my naming system (D:\TV\Halo\Season 1) and the episodes are named accordingly (Halo S01E01) but no joy. I can add the indiviual show as a TV show, so just (D:\TV\Halo\Season 1) but then it won't add any metadata and won't show in the TV Show folder, only in recent TV Showsembyserver.txt. I have double checked that the folder is being added as TV shows If I add the folder as a movie folder, EMBY will see it and start parsing files, so the files are visible but for some reason EMBY will not add them as TV shows. GrimReaper 4739 Posted October 24, 2025 Posted October 24, 2025 That sounds like you have overlapping paths with since movie-type library. How many libraries have you created and with what paths? Could your share a screenshot of your Settings>Library tab in the sidebar?

joshuakay92 0 Posted October 24, 2025 Author Posted October 24, 2025 Just a WD 5TB Elements but my G drive is also the same kind of drive
GrimReaper 4739 Posted October 24, 2025 Posted October 24, 2025 Lots of action in that log. Could you remove that TV show library, take out/copy somewhere else Das Boot folder out of root folder, run Rotate log file task and recreate library with the same path, so we'd get rid of the noise?
Luke 42077 Posted October 24, 2025 Posted October 24, 2025 Something is denying the server access to get into those folders. If you can resolve that then this should resolve your issue.
joshuakay92 0 Posted October 24, 2025 Author Posted October 24, 2025 So I cant remove das boot for some unknown admin privilefges error, but I did the rotate log and it's allowed me to add the files. However, now I cant access any file from the movies folder as it says there are no compatible streams embyserver.txt
Luke 42077 Posted October 24, 2025 Posted October 24, 2025 Is something wrong with your g drive? Could not find a part of the path 'G:\Movies'.
