Plugin failed to show ExternalId when identifying in 4.9.x

So previouly in 4.8.x, a third-party plugin can search via external ids if it implemented a valid IExternalId class.

For example, we can search via IMDb, TVDB, or other third-party provider when they are enabled in the library.

 

However, since 4.9.x, some of the third-party plugin failed to show the custom id search bar in the identify window, e.g.,

I'm not sure what API has been changed or updated. So I would appreciate any info regarding this.

Hi, you can let the developer know that in order to show up on the screen, the provider classes must implement IHasSupportedExternalIdentifiers.
