Hi,

I have installed 3.5.15 but, unfortunately, I still get "No compatible streams are currently available" on the Cinema Intros trailers.

Thank you.

Sorry for double posting but I can't edit anymore.

I have tested the app on Android phone and Android TV as well as the Windows App (installed from the MS Store), it happens on all of them.

3.5.15 showed up on the google play store for Shield TV devices today. I installed the update and confirmed that the trailers are working again!

Would be great to know what the root cause of the issue was, I found out this project wasn't open source so I couldn't investigate it myself.

Great. How long until Android TV gets the same fix?

@ransomshellHonestly I would abandon Android TV version if I were you. They are not making future enhancements to it, and the Android universal app has a lot more functionality.

Not looking for enhancements, just want working trailers.

The universal app is unpleasant to use. The Android TV app is snappy and far better imo.

I prefer the AndroidTV app over the universal one too - Just saying...

Is there any progress on a fix for this?  I Uninstalled/reinstalled app and it did not resolve the issue.

Hi, it is resolved in Emby for android 3.5.15+. Thanks.

Will it be fixed in Emby for Android TV? Or is that project abandoned?

Would it be possible to get a download link to the apk (with working trailors)  for manual install (regardless of play store) ??

I sideloaded the 2.1.28 version from the apk onto my Nvidia Shield and can confirm it fixed the error 15 on the trailers playing, everything seems to be working great

HI, I'm not sure. For that device you may just have to wait for the update to come through the store, which should be soon.

CCwGTV version is 2.1.23g Is there a new version still coming soon?

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Thanks.

Trailers stopped working again. It see a youtube login screen briefly flash before it aborts out. Android Fire TV App. Previously working on 3.5.15. My new version that must have auto-updated is 3.5.16.

Hi, is this all trailers or only certain ones? It seems to be working in my testing.

Strangely it started working again. It was all trailers. I just repro'd it about 5 minutes ago without app logging turned on. Turned on app logging, restarted Emby on my Shield TV Pro, then it started working again.

Hello,

It seems all the trailers have stopped working on the Emby TV app (even after clearing the data, cache, and the app itself). I was mistaken.

This has been going on for several months.

However, it works on the Android version.

Both apps are on Shield TV.

@Satanasss

What version of the "Emby Android TV" are you on?

You can join the beta and its working there.

No it's a lifetime donating member to this Bridget be broke for the last 6 months and it still broke for me kind of hurts my feelings because you can't manually update it like the one user described because every time it updates it will break it again so that defeats the purpose if it is that simple of a fix why is one not been pushed yet and that can't be fixed that easy inside the player can it because it's Android code I can't edit that on an Android device so is it server side why does it work on everything else I thought Android devices could do cookie files would it be easier to figure out why the device isn't loading the cookies on the Android player cuz obviously if it's kind of an issue then it would go to tell me that the player has got something in the security settings not accepting cookies and it just needs to be turned on

Hi.  I'm sorry but I understood almost none of that :).

Trailers work fine in either the release of the standard app or the beta of the TV one.  Both can be installed and updated from the store.
