Hansemann 0 Posted October 30, 2025 Posted October 30, 2025 So it's probably better to wait for an update.
Hansemann 0 Posted October 30, 2025 Posted October 30, 2025 I have Emby for Android version 2.1.23g. Is this the latest version? Will there be a new version from Emby?

Hansemann 0 Posted October 30, 2025 Posted October 30, 2025 Thanks for the link. I've installed the version. Unfortunately, the problem with the trailers persists. Hopefully, it will be fixed very soon.
Luke 42077 Posted October 30, 2025 Posted October 30, 2025 Hi. Yes We are embedding the official youtube sdk and it must be keeping some data that eventually causes this problem. That's why clearing app data resolves it. Hopefully this will not be a long term problem.
xantari 7 Posted October 30, 2025 Posted October 30, 2025 Clearing app data does not solve the problem for me. 1
Luke 42077 Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 Hi, this should be resolved in Emby for Android 3.5.15. If you can sideload to try it out, that would be very helpful. We'll get it out to the store as soon as we can. Thanks.

Hansemann 0 Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 (edited) Wo bekomme ich Version 3.5.15? Link? Ich habe die APK-Datei gestern aus dem Google Play Store heruntergeladen. Es handelte sich um Version 3.5.13. I downloaded the arm64 version for the Shield. It's still version 3.5.13, right? Das Problem ist noch nicht behoben. Danke. Edited October 31, 2025 by Hansemann
hallansen 2 Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 I have installed version 3.5.15 on my Samsung tablet and my Shield, and trailers are working again. Thanks for the great work!
Hansemann 0 Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 I can't find version 3.5.15. Do you have a link?
Neminem 1515 Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 Emby.Releases/android at master · MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases · GitHub I think this is the link.
Hansemann 0 Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 Thank you so much! I just downloaded the APK from the Google Play Store again, and now it's version 3.5.15! Just an hour ago, the download was still showing the old version. Success: Trailers are working again.
xantari 7 Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 Waiting for it to hit the google play store on my Shield. Eager to try it out. (Skipping the sideloading route for now because when you do that I don't think I get auto-updates from the play store anymore)
Hansemann 0 Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 I can install both versions on the Shield: the Android version and the Android TV version. Not on my projector with Android. is there a fixed version of the Android TV version? My XGIMI Aura 2 only accepts Android TV apps.

Hansemann 0 Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 Good to know! I can install Emby Android 1.5.12 from the Play Store. I'm trying to install version 1.5.15 via APK. This worked on both of my Shield devices but it didn't work on the XGIMI Aura 2. In the end, I get the simple message: "App not installed." What's going on? "Apps from unknown sources" is enabled.

ransomshell 8 Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 Emby for Android TV is not the same as Emby for Android. Android appears fixed, hopefully the same fix will get into the Android TV version soon. 1 1

NIIcK 9 Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Hi, I have installed 3.5.15 but, unfortunately, I still get "No compatible streams are currently available" on the Cinema Intros trailers. Thank you.
