sapphire_zheng 0 Posted October 20, 2025 Posted October 20, 2025 When I use the 4.7.12 server version, my video needs to be transcoded from eac3 to ac3, and my TV version is 2.0.83 or 2.0.95 and use 2.1.26 yet. Luke 42077 Posted October 23, 2025 Posted October 23, 2025 @sapphire_zheng Hi. Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares? Thanks.

sapphire_zheng 0 Posted October 24, 2025 Author Posted October 24, 2025 I will try the official website now https://emby.media/emby-for-android-tv.html Can the version downloaded here be installed. I have installed the Android app before. My TV is quite old and was purchased around 2018, so it runs slowly and sometimes crashes
sapphire_zheng 0 Posted October 24, 2025 Author Posted October 24, 2025 I used the latest TV client official website to download, but still have the same problem of selecting the wrong subtitles ffmpeg-remux-23c06014-59eb-4a76-ac55-92c675376255_1.txt

sapphire_zheng 0 Posted October 25, 2025 Author Posted October 25, 2025 Unfortunately, it's not possible because my TV is quite old. The new version is slow to install and often crashes
sapphire_zheng 0 Posted October 26, 2025 Author Posted October 26, 2025 My suggestion is that the client type can be determined on the server side. If it is the TV side, the mapping code can still be restored to the 4.7.12 version. This can be determined during development.
sapphire_zheng 0 Posted November 27, 2025 Author Posted November 27, 2025 Is the Android TV version of the application no longer maintained? But I noticed that Google Play was last updated with a new version in December last year. So that means the final app version is later than the server-side version 4.7.13, why is there no solution to this problem?
