When I use the 4.7.12 server version, my video needs to be transcoded from eac3 to ac3, and my TV version is 2.0.83 or 2.0.95 and use 2.1.26 yet.
The built-in subtitle selected for this version combination is mapped and displayed normally, and subtitles can be switched at any time. The log is as follows
19:18:00.471 Stream mapping:
19:18:00.471 Stream #0:0 -> #0:0 (copy)
19:18:00.471 Stream #0:1 -> #0:1 (eac3 (native) -> ac3 (native))
19:18:00.471 Stream #0:7 -> #1:0 (subrip (srt) -> webvtt (native)) <--- "I choice CHT"  be maped in the first position
19:18:00.471 Stream #0:2 -> #2:0 (subrip (srt) -> webvtt (native))
19:18:00.471 Stream #0:3 -> #3:0 (subrip (srt) -> webvtt (native))

But when I tried to upgrade to any updated version after 4.7.13(to 4.9.1.80), the subtitle mapping became incorrect. Subtitles cannot be selected correctly, log as follows
15:01:42.095 Stream mapping:
15:01:42.095 Stream #0:0 -> #0:0 (copy)
15:01:42.095 Stream #0:1 -> #0:1 (eac3 (native) -> ac3 (native))

15:01:42.095 Stream #0:5 -> #4:0 (subrip (srt) -> webvtt (native))
15:01:42.095 Stream #0:18 -> #5:0 (subrip (srt) -> webvtt (native)) "I choice CHT"  be maped in the 5th position
15:01:42.095 Stream #0:19 -> #6:0 (subrip (srt) -> webvtt (native))
15:01:42.095 Press [q] to stop, [?] for help

@sapphire_zheng

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Thanks.

I will try the official website now https://emby.media/emby-for-android-tv.html Can the version downloaded here be installed. I have installed the Android app before. My TV is quite old and was purchased around 2018, so it runs slowly and sometimes crashes

Unfortunately, it's not possible because my TV is quite old. The new version is slow to install and often crashes

My suggestion is that the client type can be determined on the server side. If it is the TV side, the mapping code can still be restored to the 4.7.12 version. This can be determined during development.

Is the Android TV version of the application no longer maintained? But I noticed that Google Play was last updated with a new version in December last year. So that means the final app version is later than the server-side version 4.7.13, why is there no solution to this problem?
