No sound on Horizon TV Web App

Hello, I have a Horizon TV running OperaTV OS. The tv doesn’t support ac3 codec on web browser and because emby is transcoding all audio tracks to ac3 all videos plays without sound. If I play a file with aac audio codec, everything is fine. Is there a way to force transcode to aac instead of ac3 ? Thanks.

Have you tried selecting "Playback correction" in OSD cog menu?

Yes, but no luck, audio is still transcoded to ac3

Select it again (and maybe again), it should trigger audio conversion to mp3 eventually. 

Edit: @Luke, maybe process logic should be reshuffled there, to go from lighter to heavier load progressively, so instead of remux-video transcode-audio transcode it goes remux-audio transcode-video transcode?

Probably need to see transcode logs also as dev may need to edit the device profile as it must be reporting supported codec.

Hi, where did you see that the TV doesn't support ac3 in the browser?

It is just a guess. I tested with multiple files and got the same behaviour. If the file contains ac3 audio there is no sound, with aac everything is ok.
