bobbee001 4 Posted October 19, 2025 Posted October 19, 2025 I had emby working and thought that I would also try jellyfin, installed it and did basic config, figured I would do more tomorrow. So I tried to start emby and keep getting this message
bobbee001 4 Posted October 19, 2025 Author Posted October 19, 2025 Let me add, I went to the bedroom assuming no emby tonight, but it is working fine on roku. So on the win11 computer can't browse or config without the above message. ( checked task manager and jeelfin is not there)
Solution Neminem 1518 Posted October 19, 2025 Solution Posted October 19, 2025 Emby and Jellyfin uses the same port 8096. You need to stop Emby, then go into jelltfin and edit its port to something else. Then restart jellyfin and access it via its new port. Start Emby again, and see if that helps.
