Don't Show Titles Under Posters

There are a lot of weird things that bugs me about the Emby client apps from day one. For example, why in the year 2025 do we still have ugly title and year text under movie posters as the DEFAULT setting. Shouldn't something like this be an optional setting for the weirdos who want to see the movie titles in cutoff text below the posters? Look at all the other premium streaming apps like Disney+, Netflix, Prime Video etc, and you'll not see any text below posters anymore. I refuse to believe that this is something that the majority of Emby users want. The problem with these terrible default settings is that it reverts back to those settings if you ever need to uninstall and reinstall the app. Why can't we get an integrated app that remembers ALL settings on a per profile basis as opposed to a per device basis? This is complete madness. I literally have to customize my settings for each and every device that I login to my profile on Emby. Any don't even ask me stupid questions like "why do you think that". That is by far the most irritating question that y'all ask in response to people's complaints.

@TVTechI thought the same thing a few years ago. We tried it. User feedback was not good.

It only works well when the image being displayed clearly communicates what the content is, and we can't always assume that to be true.
