Have Video Image zoom in, but have PSG subtitles not zoom in.

I have an ultra wide monitor, when I watch movies on my PC I have it crop the top and bottom because the movie usually tends to have black bars anyway, so it fits. but this also crops the PSG subtitles. is there a way I can crop the video image but have the subtitles still render at the same 16:9 aspect ratio it was meant to display at? Or a simple way to convert the PSG format into a text based format like SRT or ASS within emby itself? if not I'll most likely just crop the movie with hand break, but I wanted to see if I could find an emby solution so I don't have to do that with every movie.

No, its Emby Theater for arch linux, im aware such a setting wouldn't be possible with the web app as it would have to burn the subs into the image.

OK this is something we'll have to pay attention to in our new linux app:

Thanks.

There's nothing we can do about it in the app. MPV player doesn't have any options for repositioning graphic subs

There's a longstanding ready-developed feature for converting graphics subs to tect subs on the fly (server-side). No idea what's going to happen with that.
