No disconnect option when finished casting

When casting from Emby for Android to a 3rd Generation Chromecast or Chromecast with Google Tv there is no option in the app to disconnect casting when you are finished using the app. Closing the app does not disconnect either, it still says 'Ready To Cast' on both chromecast's. I end up having to disconnect the power on both of them to remove the 'Ready To Cast' screen.

Why does it show the device im casting from in the cast list (you can see S23)

Also there is no 'Stop' button on the app play controls.

Emby Server - 4.9.1.80 on Synology DS218Play DSM 6.2.4-25556-8

Samsung S23 - Emby for Android 3.5.12

Samsung A52s - Emby for Android 3.4.74

Both versions of the Chromecast and both versions of the app results in the same outcome.

Sorry, this should be in the Android section and not the Android Server section

Hi, what do you mean by that ?

Anyway i have gone back to EFA 3.3.29, this is the version i was using before i updated to the latest version. I think the play controls are better on 3.3.29 it has a 'stop' button.

Since 3.5.12 has no 'stop' button on the play controls or a disconnect cast feature, does the cast connection just timeout after a while when the app is closed ?

The video below is version 3.3.29. This option is missing in 3.5.12.

To disconnect, you simply go back into the cast menu and select the local device. This has always been this way. Right?

As you can see in the video with version 3.3.29, yes it works.

With version 3.5.12 if i go into the cast menu and select the local device, the cast menu just disappears and nothing happens, it still says 'Ready To Cast' on the Tv.

No disconnect menu pop up appears.
