Emby Changing Artwork

I'm assuming this is happening during the "automatically refresh metadata from the internet" but my artworks keep changing.

I'll go through and pick the artworks I like for a movie collection or a group of tv series, then i'll check it sometime later, and the images have changed to whatever the most popular image is in the image selector?

Do I just need to turn off the automatically refresh metadata option?

I cant really give Logs because I dont know when it happened...

As for a Specific example, I know i've updated the below so all the movie posters match the theme of the first one. But at some point they've reverted to the default images.

@goldsworthy1Did you try checking this "automatically refresh metadata" setting in the Library settings? I always set mine to "Never" because I don't want things changing when I don't expect it to.

Again that won't impact images.

And under edit metadata enabling the option 'lock this item to prevent future changes' would that make a difference?

OK @goldsworthy1, the local image next to the media file will always take priority. You have two choices:

• Enable saving images to media folders in the library options. This will allow the image editor to replace that image file when you pick a new one
• OR, delete that image file manually, then use the image editor to pick a new one
