Virtual TV plugin - No channel listed

Hi All, 

I've added the virtual TV plugin (VirtualTV 2.1.7.0)  and configured it as below, but for some reason, the channel isn't appearing. I tried it before and after renumbering the channels to "create" room.

I can't work out why. I've previously configured it. I've renamed the old config file.  

I've also attached the server log file.

Can anyone offer any advice?

I can't remember what the last screen shot was, but thanks for removing it.

Yes the preview channel does show content.

Do you want me to post the VirtualTV XML file?

Does the channel show in the guide if you enable it for all users?

I enabled it for all users, then rebooted emby from the dashboard, let it refresh the guide, but unfortunately, the channel isn't there. 

What would you like me to try?

Have you checked that the channel is not disabled under Emby's own channel management, under live tv?

Hi Pünktchen,

I'm not sure I know how to disable a channel. I didn't do it intentionally, but here's the Channels from live TV.

If it's not here, how do I get to the disabled channels?

Incidentally, it seems to be stuck at 15 %. I've uploaded the log file too

At least this time i can see the guide refresh is getting program entries from VirtualTV:

After that entry many other program entries from your xmltv source are saved to the database. So the guide refresh is not stuck because of VirtualTV. Is just takes a long time for all your tv channels, especially if other tasks like theme downloads are running at the same time.

But back to the original issue... Please check under your user profiles -> parental control -> Restrict Items With Tags, if there are any leftovers starting with VirtualTV.

Hi pünktchen

I'm logged in as the user below, and this is their parental control settings. BadSatTV is a tag I pu on some channels that either didn't work or were inappropriate / unsuitable. It's not set on the virtual TV channels.

 

When I do  "save and preview" on the virtual TV, it shows movies, all of the correct nature given the rules. So it has content, it's just not displaying the channel

 

I just removed the Sat TV channels to see if they were interfering, unfortunately no change

I just added aother channel, to see if there was a problem with the definition of the first on, but alas it hasn't appeared either

Fixed, It was simply the display order, 

Default channel order didn't display them

Channel order did
