Jey2024 33 Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 Hello, My friend invited me to his emby server. Connected via emby connect. I'm using chrome web browser and android app. Android app streaming is working perfectly fine. No streaming issues. However, chrome is getting stuck very often - No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details. I don't use any other browser other than chrome. Internet is not an issue, connected to a 1Gpbs wired connection. Any idea what could be this issue? or why web is emitting this error? Do you think hardware accelerator setting is causing this issue?
GrimReaper 4739 Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 (edited) Without logs (which you cannot obtain, only server admin - your friend - can), it'd be anyone's guess. Wild guess: Chrome needs to transcode an item (whereas Android app can play it directly) and your friend has restricted/disabled transcoding rights for your user. But as said, without logs that's pure guesswork. Edit: Have you tried installing Emby for Windows client app and checked how does that compare? Edited October 13, 2025 by GrimReaper Append

Thanks, I understand without the actual logs it's tough luck. I don't use windows app. But if needed I can give it a try. The thing is im using a small video without transcoding. Normally it streams properly but after 15-20min will get stuck like this. So trying to figure out what else could be the issue.
