bandit8623 213 Posted October 11, 2025 Posted October 11, 2025 (edited) @Lukehevc is not being used for me when playing live tv mpeg2 via browser. its always using h264. is this a bug or the way it should be? arguably this is the largest file that should be transcoded smaller? js28194 36 Posted October 12, 2025 Posted October 12, 2025 Looks to be on the local network. Can you confirm. My local network does not transcode, on reason to, but then again I don't use the web browser much so.... Also, the HDHomerun 4k does transcoding on the device itself I believe.

Remote users also using browsers transcodes h264 as well for antenna tv. Edited October 12, 2025 by bandit8623
