mrmixed 77 Posted October 11, 2025 Posted October 11, 2025 I keep all of my media content in a single mixed content library. My library has the following header: I primarily navigate using Folders, but also use Playlists, Collections, and Genres. I know Tags has more utility across the Emby platform, but I only use Tags on my content to enable Cinema Intros. Ever since I started doing this, "Tags" appears in the header, and it simply has a useless list of all my titles for which I have enabled intros. It would be preferable to be able to suppress "Tags" from appearing in the header, since it is not an organized list and not useful for viewers. I'd also like to exclude "Album Artists" and "Artists" from the list as well. These only appear because I have a handful of science fiction audiobooks that I threw on the server in a subfolder alongside their corresponding science fiction TV show. While I tend to think that audiobooks might actually be something that warrants it's own library, I don't have any other audiobooks, and don't plan on getting any. And I further doubt if any of my users are going to listen to them, so it doesn't warrant any further effort in organizing them. In any case, my preference is keep them adjacent to the actual media content in case anyone is browsing and wants to delve into something different. But I don't need either "Album Artists" or "Artists" cluttering up the top-level view. I might even decide to suppress "Shows" and "Movies" at some point. They aren't especially useful in my setup. More information here: All things considered, this is a very low priority. I'm honestly only filing this because the recent 4.9.1.80 update forced me to make a forum account to gripe about changes to Folder View--so now that I'm here, I might as well gripe about other things. But I can't find any way to hide these categories within Emby settings, so I thought it was worth suggesting as an enhancement request. Thanks!
