FrostByte 5392 Posted October 10, 2025 Posted October 10, 2025 FR: Option/setting to auto hide the music OSD after a certain amount of time (seconds) of play or inactivity from the remote. Reason OSD is mostly clutter if you're just sitting there listening to music for a long time. Screen is very busy. Most keys on the OSD that one would need while playing for any length of time are on the remote (skip, pause, etc) OSD could reappear on pause maybe. 1
Luke 42077 Posted October 11, 2025 Posted October 11, 2025 Hi, did you try deselecting the lyrics? Then you would see less.

True, but even in that view I would still want to hide the OSD. Most of those keys are something you choose when you first start playing (shuffle, etc), and the others are on the remote. It's kind of like watching a movie with the OSD/timeline showing all the time. It provides info but not really needed to enjoy what you're doing. I would rather enjoy more of the picture/artwork and use the remote for skipping, etc Maybe a countdown at the most in the bottom right corner? The others are kind of a distraction for those who like their artwork,
ebr 16169 Posted October 11, 2025 Posted October 11, 2025 Same as this, or you want a custom thing like Android TV has? 1

I'm not talking screensaver. The picture I provided is the normal background when playing music. I just want the OSD to autohide like it does when watching a movie and maybe just show the track time left. @ebrI totally forgot ATV does that, but it wasn't on that list either. I guess I'll ask a mod to add it. 1
