Live tv timeline indicator

On android TV app the live TV progress bar works as expected. 

On the new android app the indicator(round ball) always stays in the beginning of the timeline indicator regardless of how far you are into the program. The green bar indicator is always starting from the beginning also.

Can this be fixed please?

Live TV function really seems worse in android app VS android TV app. Sometimes when you exit playback from live TV, it will return to the guide screen, but the video audio is still playing in the background.

And the way to exit the app.is also.different(worse)than android TV app. Please change
