I updated to version 4.9.1.80 and for the first scan took 7:29 hours.

Subsequent scans after a windows reboot, take around 3 hours, but if I run another scan, they take around 3 minutes.

If I don't reboot Windows, the scans last 3 minutes, but after thewindows reboot n, the first scan always takes 3 hours or more.

I imagine there's some kind of cache that disappears when Windows restarts, and my question is whether it's possible to keep that cache active so the first scan doesn't take so long after the reboot. (Even if I restart Emby Server, the scan still takes 3 minutes during that Windows session.)

Now I've cleared the logs and rebooted Windows to generate a new log with a new scan after te reboot.

When it done, I'll send it to you in a several hours.

Luke, I'm sending you the logs from the first scan after rebooting Windows, which takes about 3 hours, and the subsequent ones, which last about 2 or 3 minutes.

Perhaps the first scan after updating requires reloading any/all the items in the database.
Does the second scan perform better on your end?

Please what I explain about the problem I have.

Sorry Luke ,  from the logs any idea why that scanning so deep behavior occurs after windows rebooting?

What if you restart emby server without rebooting the machine? How does that compare?

So, there's no problem either. After restoring Emby Server, the scan only took a little over 3 minutes.

That's why I was wondering if Emby Server has some kind of cache for the last scan that can disappear when Windows reboots.

I'm also trying to check, since access to the NAS is via WebDAV, if that could be the problem.

If you restarted Emby Server then it sounds more like operating system level hard disk caches.

You're right, Luke. I'll try to investigate whether the problem is with Raidrive (WebDAV) or something else.

Thanks so much for your help.
