The flag for the Swedish language in the app has the flag of El Salvador.
Probably because the country El Salvador = SV and Sweden = SE.
But, Swedish/Svenska, the language = SV.
So, country SE, language SV.
 

The viewing history for each user show the history for some other user, not the selected one (I already bought premium).

Like if I select myself I see history for one of my kids. Same on their users.

For me it feels very slow when typing in the server information to the point that it missed some letters and numbers.
After the information has been put in there are no slowdowns i have noticed.

It doesn't like if it I try use my domain (via reverse proxy). Auth failed. Internal ip works to connect to server.

Does this allow Restart and Shutdown of the emby server, or is this just for monitoring?

@vincen This is what I got running the exodus-privacy report. Exodus-privacy is the default privacy checker that shows up on de-googled android app stores like aurora store & App Lounge.

No location permissions detected  (it does grab your unique AD_ID identifier  but that's anything using Google Firebase Analytics). But I don't see anything malicious.

Personally, I mostly stick with just f-droid apps to avoid Google Firebase, but that's a luxury google android users won't be able to use much longer.

Aucune autorisation de localisation détectée   (votre identifiant AD_ID unique est récupéré,   mais cela ne concerne pas Google Firebase Analytics). Cependant, je ne vois rien de malveillant.

This looks decent, and I like the sonarr and radarr integration. 

3 points: the icon is jellyfin, I guess because the app was initially written for jellyfin. 

Overseerr integration would be great. 

And already mentioned, access through a reverse proxy does not work.

the icon used for the app shows a jellyfish which is a bit close to jellyfin (and i think jellyfin's name was based on jellyfish). Plus I have both jellywatch and embywatch installed and even though the icons are different colour, they look pretty similar.

From what little I have read, this will only affect those that are on OEM or vendor ROM's. If you are on a custom ROM, you are OK for now. However, Google has made a lot of progress sabotaging 3rd party developers that this may not be true for long. PostmarkOS is looking better and better everyday. If Lineage has to dump Android in the future, maybe they will segue to that.

The app itself does not handle user authentication directly. It simply uses the Emby API to perform the login.

 

If you see the message “You’ve been banned from the server permanently” only when connecting through a reverse proxy (while the local IP works fine), this indicates that the issue comes from the Emby server or its network configuration, not from the app itself.

 

I recommend checking the reverse proxy settings or any ban rules configured on your Emby server.
