user84 46 Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 (edited) I've had zero problems with Emby just prior to switching to a mesh Network. I have two TVs connected to my network, one of which is connected to the main node on the mesh Network and it previously gave me a warning it could not connect to the server, even though it would continue to log in fine. I switched to the Android app on a fire stick and this solved the problem. However, I have another TV connected to a different node on the mesh Network that continues to forget and require login to the server. I do not use Emby connect. When I enter the LAN info on the manual login screen and it magically is able to log into the server. This happens every several days. It is on a Roku TV. Edited October 8, 2025 by user84
visproduction 315 Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 (edited) U84, I don't like using Mesh for these type of issues and a lot of the bandwith is used up with the Mesh feature, which no one tells you about. In my opinion, throw out the Mesh change to one main router and hardwire connect to an extender router and give them different SSID names, 'West Wing' and 'Oval Office' or whatever. Then if you must connect any TV via Wifi, pick the one with he strongest signal. Mesh works by sampling the bandwidth continously and flipping any roving user between different MESH broadcast relay. Just doing this all the time uses bandwidth. Separate SSID setup is faster, but doesn't support someone walking all over the place with their mobile or tablet. Also, users do think that figuring out which SSID to login is too much work and confusing... Hence the arrival of Mesh, which actually costs more to purchase, more bandwidth you have to buy to get decent Wifi but the host has less support phone calls. Separate SSID is old school. I save myself all the MESH hardware costs, and get higher bandwidth with separate SSID in a large house for a fraction of the cost. see: https://easytechsolver.com/why-does-my-mesh-wi-fi-keep-disconnecting/ Edited October 8, 2025 by visproduction 1 1
AmericanMike 17 Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 make sure you have a quality mesh. I use Orbi and have no problems across my whole house that has 3 satellites. Make sure the IP address being assigned are all in the same subnet. 1

Luke 42077 Posted October 9, 2025 Posted October 9, 2025 It sounds like your browsing data might be getting cleared. Can you check on that?

In advance, the only option is to remember me, which is enabled
