Possible Issue with Intro Skip

Intro skip seems to have changed slightly after this last update. From my understanding if you are watching a downloaded copy of a show while offline or by starting the show from the downloads section you don't get the skip intro button. If you start the show normally while connected to the server, you do get the skip intro button even if the show is downloaded to your device. Currently if I start the show normally while connected to the server and that episode is downloaded, I no longer get the skip button. If I change the version back to the streamed version, I will have the skip button. This was nice to be able to download the episodes in advance to avoid any buffering on Cellular Data while still getting the skip button. I couldn't find anything regarding this behavior or what is the expected behavior of this feature regarding downloads. I am running server version 4.9.1.80 and the issue happens on the 3 iOS devices I have tested all running iOS 26 with app version 2.2.43.

HI, what you describe was happening by accident. What we need to do is make sure the downloaded version gets the intro skip information. We'll take a look at that. Thanks.
