Can we talk about MediaBrowser.Controller for a moment?

Does MediaBrowser.Controller have an entity for Audio Books?

I have tried:
MediaBrowser.Controller.Entities.Audio
MediaBrowser.Controller.Entities.AudioBook
MediaBrowser.Controller.Entities.Audio.AudioBook

Thanks

You can browse trhough all the public API surface here:

Emby SDK Reference: MediaBrowser.Controller

Ya, I have. Was hoping there was one and just wasn't documented yet or something. Oh well, kinda sucks tho :(

Also, I am not a developer so I could be overlooking it. I am just trying to get some info for someone who might be willing to. That's why I asked.

AFAIK, Audiobooks don't exist as a separate entity in Emby. It's mostly just normal albums and tracks displayed in a different manner for the "Audiobooks"-type library.

There's a bunch of Feature Requests for improving the Audiobooks experience and metadata so perhaps someday it will also be it's own entity (if required).

That's sad. Audio books have been a thing in Emby for years and there isn't a way to add a metadata provider for them yet :(

You should be able to do something with the existing Album entity but I can't say for sure since I haven't tried it myself.

I'll see what can be achieved. TY for the heads up. Once it became obvious to us that an audio book entity was just not going to happen, we tried forcing the book entity into an audio book library but that was like putting a square peg in a round hole. So... instead it looks l should be trying to shove an audio entity into audio book library. So it will be shoving a round peg into a square hole.

Got it, Ty again, bro
