Hello,

It seems that in the latest version, when you try to refresh the metadata, it only reads the .nfo files without searching for metadata providers, regardless of the configured order (TVDB or TMDB, for example).

The logs seem to indicate that it doesn't go any further than the .nfo files present.

I wonder if this is due to version 4.9.1.80, because it seems to me that it worked before.

Do you confirm that TVDB requires (or does not require) an API key?

Check in your library settings that meta-providers are still enabled (in case they got disabled upon update) - if they are, try unticking/ticking them back, nad repeat metadata refresh.

I did that and also reversed the priorities without success.

What library meta-providers you have enabled and in what order? You can also post server log upon trying to refresh metadata

TVDB or TMDB in both orders, enabled, disabled in any combination...

With no provider attempts in the log it still suggest they are not enabled on the library.

And yet they are enabled. I even reinstalled the plugins without success...

@CanalettoHi, can you please try refreshing metadata on something again, and then attach the complete emby server log file?

Also have you checked the metadata editor to make sure that metadata isn't locked?

In fact, some series have been locked. Why only some, I don't know, and I haven't been able to find any logic behind it. And I'm not entirely sure that it's related to the latest update.

Hi, they are locked because you locked them and forgot that you did that, or something else wrote the nfo file with the lock option applied.

Non, je n'ai jamais rien verrouillé intentionnellement et je suis le seul administrateur. L'important est de trouver l'origine du problème.
