Broken Android App?

Hi, I recently updated Emby Server and I'm really enjoying the new features—it allows me to watch higher bitrate movies without any issues on most of my devices. However, since this update, my Sony Bravia 9 has stopped working properly. Higher bitrate movies no longer play on it, even though they work perfectly on all my other devices, such as my LG C4 and MacBook.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a fix? I'd love to be able to watch on my main TV again.

I tried the Nova Player on Android TV and it let me play higher bitrate videos but the base Emby video player does not allow me too anymore.

Google's really taking their time updating that one. Hopefully it'll be soon. Till then, you can sideload apk following the link here, see how does 3.5.11 compare:

I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and I'm still on 3.4.74.

Yes, but some movies do not play on the Bravia 9.
