GregMo 24 Posted October 7, 2025 Posted October 7, 2025 So it would seem there's been another update that breaks .ignore files? Under folder view I am now seeing folders that have .ignore files in them. What new hoop do we have to jump through to make these hidden again?
Solution Happy2Play 9780 Posted October 7, 2025 Solution Posted October 7, 2025 (edited) Have you seen the updated KB, plus there are existing ignore topics. https://emby.media/support/articles/Excluding-Files-Folders.html Edited October 7, 2025 by Happy2Play 1

This is the second time now that I will have to go through my entire library fixing it again due to a stupid change like this that backwards compatibility was not preserved. Sure would be nice if there was a warning to let you know what each new version breaks before it installs it automatically. Several times now there's been an update, as an example, that for no good reason at all, changed the ID number of playlists which breaks the scripts that I use daily. The first time that happened, I spent hours trying to figure out what was broken. 1
