Why is it that my LG tv wants me to log in and add a credit card to download the Emby app?

Hi, can you please show a screenshot? Emby doesn’t require that.

It doesn’t show that on my lg tv.  It makes me log in through the website and then it says to add a credit card. So I thought that is odd.  Maybe wrong app?

I think I need to see pictures to really answer your question, but Emby does not ask you for a credit card to install.

It’s actually lg wanting me to have a credit card. Many other app. Have downloaded on LG tv never asks for that.  Picture coming after I get home tonight. 

here is the pic.  It just stalls out.  It won’t load.  I’m questioned this.

OK yes that is Emby Premiere. We work very hard on Emby and we thank you for your support.

However I thought this was about LG and you don't need it to install the Emby LG app.

Did you install your own server, with your own media, on your own hardware ?

Your options are 

(1) install a server.  Quick Start

Emby Premiere | Emby Documentation

Emby Premiere Feature Matrix | Emby Documentation

(2) ask a friend who runs a server to let you use theirs.

(3) access an illegal server (no further instructions here).

If someone else's have a talk with them.

Emby does not host your server and do not supply media files.
