How Do sort movies/TV shows by relase date?

Example - Marvel Cenimatic Universe Movies and TV shows from Ironman1 to Fantastic 4 (in order)

Hi, it looks like you're in folder view? Try going to the movies or shows tab of your library and doing it from there. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

On a similar note, here is my question:
 

• I have several shows that have 300+ episodes per season
• When I drill down to a season (see screenshot), the episodes are listed from oldest to newest
• This means I have to scroll all the way to the end every time I want to watch a new episode

Is there a way to change this sort order or maybe open a feature request?

I agree that reversing sort order should be available for all views

Hi, currently episodes just get auto-sorted by season and episode number. But yes more options are possible.

here is my setup...movies are placed into catagories then the contents used to be sorted by relase date.....now it doesnt work

How does it compare in the movies tab?

it will basically eliminatre the genre collection folders and sort all the movies by release date all mashed together.....and all of the TV shows would be at the end
