CharlesF 36 Posted October 5, 2025 Posted October 5, 2025 since it was auto installed on 10.3 live tv has been worse. Constant skip backs. Running 4.9.1.36
CharlesF 36 Posted October 5, 2025 Author Posted October 5, 2025 Can I go back to 1.0.40? If so how. This update is miserable.
Luke 42077 Posted October 5, 2025 Posted October 5, 2025 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
CharlesF 36 Posted October 5, 2025 Author Posted October 5, 2025 Can you please direct me on how to revert back to the prior version.
Luke 42077 Posted October 5, 2025 Posted October 5, 2025 You can use the plugin catalog to install an older version but I can promise you that it won't make any difference.

You can revert per the Catalog but note plugin auto update will be triggered at startup and download the most recent version. Do not restart your server and it will run the reverted version until next restart. Edited October 5, 2025 by Happy2Play
Obfuscated 0 Posted October 12, 2025 Posted October 12, 2025 Emby live tv works best on MacOS I tried them all with my brothers Emby key I tried ubuntu debian Lubuntu Kubuntu Wubuntu Linux mint red hat emulator that not many even know about I tried it on a smart tv a cell phone multiple windows pcs a nvidia shield even ran the server on a fire stick ffs. I tried to make it work on a router in an irc chatroom with coders for a week they said openwrt could do it but it never ran and then I ran it on a Mac... No idea why the Mac running an old i5 with 4gigs of ram old arse machine ran smooth as can be, still can't figure it out. I gave the Mac to my brother I don't watch live tv only no add stuff other than CNN. I hate apple but it worked the best non freeze on live tv no idea why but it runs at 100% Some people think it's the m3u provider or internet speed or not enough ram or some other sh*t but I can confirm it runs 100% on a pos mac with an i5 and 4gig ram which is a joke but it works. You can buy a macbook on ebay with a broken screen and use it headless for $30 take off the screen and connect it to a monitor. For live tv people it will be the best investment you make, cheap and it does work great.
