Setting up tv library

Moving from plex. My tv shows are all at one location,  each program and season in a separate folders.     H\tv\chicago fire    h:\tv\chicago Pd   h:\tv\chicago med

with each series listed in folders below     h:\tv\chicago fire\season 1    h:\tv\chicago fire\ season 2

Do I have to change this file setup for emby or am I missing a check box somewhere ?

Disregard, it works fine.

Been on PLEX for years but do to their latest interface had to find something else, this emby seems great, what plex used to be..

If you run into A series that has more than 1 adaptation remember to add year and tvdbid to your folder naming.

2 issues:

    When you mark an episode as played, do you have to open it to tell, no mark on the icon ?

  When I fall a sleep at night I want the episode being watched to be it, not automatically start the next. Is that an option ?

Yes I think you need to go to that episode and mark it played or not played.

There is this option, you can play with 

If that does not suite you then go to episode and play that.

Playing from other places will treat it as a playlist.

Yeah, I ran both in parallel using a single library for a couple months  before dropping plex

Yes they are marked.  In server view and in client view.

Not that I know of.  It would be nice because the number of episodes varies by app.  That would be a nice feature to add though.

When looking at a series for example    episode 1     episode 2     episode  3   

If one has been played, there is no indication, you have to open each one to see if there is a checkmark. Was hoping not to have to.

Another ?, where can I specify the order of the film categories ?  (I did it once but can't remember where)

Not sure what you mean, i can tell that an episode has been watched even when not checking its details. Can you show where you experience this?

Hi, where are you seeing that there's no watched indicator? We have it pretty much everywhere.
