Sakashi 0 Posted October 4, 2025 Posted October 4, 2025 Been experiencing this for a while too, but for me it work smooth if I first convert the subtitle file to another format. Could it be an idea to add subtitle convertion into emby?
Luke 42077 Posted October 4, 2025 Posted October 4, 2025 @Sakashi Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
Sakashi 0 Posted October 4, 2025 Author Posted October 4, 2025 It's the same issue reported in case 128841 Sometimes files won't start, and give "No compatible streams available", sometimes it crash during stream with same error, and sometimes they work fine. Attached the logs (not sure what logs describe it when it failed). Logs.zip
Luke 42077 Posted October 4, 2025 Posted October 4, 2025 Also please attach the main emby server log as well. Thanks.
Edrock200 53 Posted October 5, 2025 Posted October 5, 2025 Fwiw I saw this in beta 4.9.23...Seemed to be when the internal subtitles count was really high, like 20+, but seemed resolved in a subsequent update.
