Question About Alerts

Do we really need alerts of everything? Unable to find where to modify what to show in alerts, what not. That could add in next releases. At least for me "Alerts" is if something went wrong instead reporting about everything what happens. Easy to miss something important now.

At the same time the server is going to log/display all those events and automatically fall off the Dashboard after x number of days.  Not entirely sure but think it is limited to the last 4 alerts but you can click Alerts to see all events.

Now if you want individual notifications you will want to configure Users-Notifications.

Ok, maybe not everything, but now even more unwanted information. New version have only for days.

 It was ok, how it was. Why I need to know if backup was created? I  better wish to know that "Backup Failed" or "Recording Failed". 

Now alerts are flooded with recordings, backups. No ideas what else. Simply, now can miss important notification.

@Happy2Play Yes they disappear after 5-7 days, but not anymore as Emby creating backups every day, have Live Tv recordings daily.  Individual notifications I don't need. Individually I have webhooks.

In alerts You could show only failed events and add "Information" section if you want to show everything.

Yeah I don't like the idea of recordings showing up there either.

Yes, it would be better to control Alerts. For me now it's just words in right corner as in alerts section I looked for "problems" not information what was done.

For that maybe can make link in sidebar? Where can see information about general server events like recordings, updated apps, scheduled tasks done e.t.c. and leave alerts for failed jobs, logins. 

For example, sometime scheduled jobs failing, but no alerts for them. Need to check Scheduled Tasks page to see if everything works fine.
