TV series card image change won't persist

I've changed the image for series Cheers 4 times but after a day it always reverts to the original image.  How do I my selected image to stick?

 

Log day 1 I set the image, log day 2 is the next day where I see the image is changed back.  The show is recorded @10PM.

Unless your image is not being saved into media folder and it just reverts back to media folder image later?

You are onto something.  That timestamp you show is during the recording time.  I just changed it again and that file (poster.jpg) is deleted and not replaced!  So I guess when a recording takes place it drops in the file again.

You can lock it to not change and same as metadata you can lock it to never change.

There is no image lock.

I have the same issue replaced all of them the next time it records that show the image gets replaced with the image from the tv guide provider which is just text. Wish they improved I complained but nothing changes and when they are the only option you don’t have much choice
