Maybe SamES can make something of this

Quote

"7011 fast rwi is used" is a message displayed on older Samsung Tizen TVs when a developer is trying to launch an app in developer mode, indicating that the Remote Web Inspector (RWI) feature is active and bypassing the standard app loading process to load a local HTML file for debugging. To proceed, the developer should click "OK," connect the TV to a PC, and use the "Record" button in the Timeline panel of the debugging tool to capture logs for analysis, as this is a standard part of the Tizen web app development workflow for older models.
What this message means:
Fast RWI: This refers to a feature for developers on older Tizen TVs that speeds up the web app loading process by directly loading the app's HTML content instead of the full app package.
7011 (RWI): This specific number might refer to a particular app identifier or a build version used in the debugging process.
[about:blank] is loaded first: When Fast RWI is active, a blank page loads initially, and then the developer must click "OK" to start loading their actual app content.
How to proceed:
Connect to RWI: Ensure your TV is connected to the same network as your development PC where you are running the Tizen Studio debugging tools.
Click "OK": Click the "OK" button on the modal to start the app loading process.
Record Logs: Before clicking "OK," open the Timeline panel in your Tizen Studio or other debugging tools and click the Record button.
Analyze Logs: After your app loads, you can then analyze the captured network and profiling logs to understand and debug any issues with your app's initial loading or performance on the Tizen TV.

I assume your TV isn't in developer mode.

Access the Developer Mode menu: Using your remote control, move the focus to any app and press the 1-2-3-4-5 number sequence.

My TV is not in developer mode, correct. Is this necessary to use Emby? At what stage should I switch to developer mode to do something?

BTW: My tv remote control has no numpad.

Hi, no, developer mode is not necessary.

No, it should not be in developers' mode.  Just that the message according to that is trying to reach back to the RWI SDK on your PC.  Which most people aren't going to have of course.

Shoot,  @SamES is down under and hopefully will see this soon.

Okay, first of all, thanks so far, guys.

I can use emby so far. Its only this one message at the first startup. i can deal with that.

If something new comes up here, I'll of course try things out and report back.

Ha, good call!

No, I’ve not seen this message before and from what I can find in the Tizen forums, this type of debugging shouldn’t even be possible if the TV does not have developer mode enabled. Just go to the app screen, if developer mode is enabled you should see a banner at the top of the page telling you it’s enabled.

Alternatively, I would have also suggested that you check the firmware but it does look like what you have is the latest.  Have you had this issue before with the USB version or is this the first time you have tried USB loading?

BTW, I wouldn’t be too concerned of the different version number between the store and USB versions. We have to increment the version number every month to update the USB version so it goes up quite quickly but there usually aren’t any significant functional differences between them. The store version gets updated often enough that you shouldn’t really see much of a difference and it’s not worth the hassle of uninstalling/reinstalling every month

Okay, thx for that info, @SamES

For testing i uninstalled the USB Version 2.2.5 and installed the 2.1 from the Samsung AppStore. Same message appears now there too.

When my child stops playing Games on the TV in choose a factory reset of the TV. Thats the First factory reset i ever do on this TV. That cant hurt. 🙂

I report later.

So, after full factoryreset of the TV and installing the emby usb version 2.2.5 all works fine without errormessage at startup, except trailers.

Trailers works on windows App and android app, but not on Samsung App. Its ok for me. I'll wait and see if something changes with future releases.

thx for all helpers

Can you please try uninstalling any emby apps (make sure they are uninstalled, not just removed from the home screen) then remove power from the tv for a few minutes, then reinstall whichever Emby app you prefer, although i would recommend the app store version.

Then please try trailers again after that

Hi, I'm having the same problem, and following the suggested steps, I can't get rid of this blue screen every time I start Emby Tyzen on my QN95.

The firmware is the latest version, and the Emby Tyzen application is version 2.3.0, as is the server version, 4.9.3.0.

It's not a major issue, but it's strange that this error suddenly appears.

Thanks for reading.

You can try fully uninstalling the app (don't just remove it from the Home app shortcuts), the remove power from the TV for several minutes, then try reinstalling.  This might fix it, otherwise the only other guaranteed fix that I'm aware of is a factory reset for the TV which means you will need to enter all your TV settings again and reinstall all your apps which is a bit of a pain.

Hello, here back with another doubt, I was looking at the Emby download site for Tyzen and I can't find the previous versions where are they located?.

Greetings.

I don't think you can access the previous versions and they probably won't install anyway as Samsung adds a fixed expiry date of 30 days for those packages which is why we need to regularly update the USB installs.

I know for sure that the RWI error is not from the package.  From past experience with others that have had this issue, if uninstalling all Emby versions and cycling power hasn't resolved it then a full TV reset is probably the only option.

Bueno si no hay mas caminos a seguir, hare lo que comenta, un saludo y muchas gracias.
