Remote Control/Play On "Now Playing" Screen Empty

Hi,

I was testing something related to remote control/play on and noticed that the "now playing" screen is just blank except for a mute button and the cast button. The mute button does work. I have a few older APKs downloaded and I went version by version until I found where it stopped working and it looks like it broke with 3.5.01.

Steps to reproduce:

• Use the cast icon to select a device to play on
• Play something
• Tap the list icon in the bottom right at the end of the "now playing" bar

With 3.5.00 it looked like this:

After updating to 3.5.01 it looked like this. No buttons appear at all, but I can still use the back button to go back.

And after updating to 3.5.02 all the way to the latest 3.5.09 it looks like this:

Just wanted to add that it's working fine for music, it's only videos that appear like that.

This is resolved with 3.5.11, the layout has changed for videos to be more like the video player which I can see making sense from a layout perspective but I'm not really sure how I feel about it. In this example with the backdrop being used the rewind/FF and play/pause are a little hard to see, but that's going to vary. I will note that there is no option to stop playback like there was before, only music has a stop button.

EDIT: Also no volume control.

Hi, have you explored the volume related buttons that are on the screen there?

Right, duh, I was looking for a bar. And previously the volume icon was only muting, but now it displays a bar first before muting. So just missing a stop button at this point.

3.5.13 has added a stop button, I consider this resolved.
