Version 4.9.1.80

Hello everyone, I hope this is the right place to ask for for help for this kind of problem, i will try describe my problem as much as i can. (sorry for my english)

I recently purchased Premiere version of emby and im trying to setup cinema intros to play trailers from internet (no local files). Problem is that no matter what i try, i cant get it to work on my android TV box (Nokia 8010) and my android phone. When i enable Cinema Intros and i pres Play button on whatever movie, the screen just blink for split of second and gets me back to movie details or show error message:

"No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details.".

So basically im stuck on movie details screen. (android TV box)

I have no problems playing movies with intros on my server machine (windows),  just devices im streaming to. Here are some of my observations:

 - On my android phone, when error of no compatible streams appears, instead of returning me to movie details, video player stays open (blank), when i press "next video button"

second trailer usually plays just fine so i can circle between trailers even with errors appearing, some will play, most of them not, eventually i can skip all trailers and play movie just fine.

- When i disable Cinema intros completely, i have no issues with whatever movie i try to play.

I repeated, just of curiosity, same process on my LG TV (web os), same behaviour.  I already tried to reinstall server couple of times, enabled/disabled addon multiple times, nothing changed. Im attaching my server log, if there is anything more i can do to solve this, please let me know, thank you!

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Thanks.

@ebrHi, Thank you for response. So i downloaded standard Emby app (not version for android TV) to my tv box, after a first startup i tested first movie, trailer started. Then i tried different movie and error showed again, very strange. im sending log again if its any good and photo of error message (in my language of course).

I am seeing a similar (or the same?) problem on a projector runing a form of android (not sure what) and the latest emby for Android 3.5.09 app (side loaded apk). I amg getting the same behavior on two different servers, one running 4.8.11.0 and the other 4.9.1.80. this is for both live tv and movies.

I can browse the librarys select a movie or channel but the playback fails with the error "There was an error processing the request. Try again later"

this also happens if get a stream sucessfulling playing on a tablet with emby for android v 3.4.74 and then try to "play on" the projector.

I am having the same problem. The version of the emby app available for the NVidia shield is behaving identically. Just a flash to black, and then nothing when cinema intros are enabled.

For that matter, no trailers at all will play. They all give an error after I installed the trailer plugin.

If I use the trailer button on the movie file page, it simply says :this video is unavailable. error code: 152-15".  I believe this means that it isn't authenticating with youtube. I am logged into youtube on this same android box, but I suppose emby isn't using that connection and is instead trying to use its own. But shouldn't that mean I have the option to provide it my credentials somewhere?

edit: looks like the trailer error code 152-15 issue has been reported quite a bit. I am attempting to install emby for android instead to see if it helps
