Emby HTTP API help

I am making a Emby plugin for Unmanic to be able to refresh individual library items when they're done being transcoded/remuxed... I am trying to use the `/Libary/Media/Updated` endpoint, which will take a "Path" and "UpdateType" in its request body. My issue is that there is a lack of documentation specifying what values can be used for UpdateType, as the documentation just states it is of type string...

 

What values can I provide to it? Shouldn't this be documented as an enum with a list values it will take in?

Hi, the vast majority of the time you should be fine omitting update type.

So I am calling the endpoint after the file has been processed (ie. audio tracks removed), and no updates are happening in Emby. Do I have to pass something in to UpdateType for it to work if the filename doesn't change?

 

Nevermind, I was formatting the request body incorrectly. It is now working as intended.

I would give it a couple minutes. You can track it in the server log.
