Watching active recording can pause but not FF

I have the same issue. I can't start playing an in progress recording and jump forward 10 seconds at a time to like I can in a normal playback.

My live Tv recordings get recorded as .ts files.

I tried using the web app  and the Windows app it does not work on either.

Surprisingly this works in the Roku app. Although in the Roku app, I need to go in the Recordings sections to start the episode from there while in the Windows and Web I can start the episode from the program guide and it there is a prompt to start from the beginning or the live position.
