Roxics 3 Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 I'm actually surprised this doesn't exist by default. Unless I somehow missed the option to turn it on. I want to be able to continue watching home videos just like I do movies or TV shows. From a continue watching section in that library itself, along with the ability to see suggestions for other things in that library like unplayed videos or similar videos. I have no interest in displaying these videos on the home screen. Thank you
ebr 16169 Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 Hi. Continue watching I guess makes sense but, beyond that, I'm not sure what we'd show. Most home videos have no metadata so it wouldn't be possible to know what was "similar".

Most home videos have no metadata so it wouldn't be possible to know what was "similar". Suggestions such as other unplayed videos or perhaps tags derived from file names or titles. Videos of similar length or resolution. I'll give you an example. In my Plex setup, I've got 32 "other videos" libraries set up. That's beyond my libraries that use the movies and TV shows library types. When I go into each of those other videos libraries I have two tabs at the top "Recommended" and "Library" and it lands me on whatever I was the last to use. But in my Recommended tab there are four rows of videos you can scroll through horizontally: Continue watching Recently Added in *name of library* Unwatched Videos Recently Watched Videos I constantly use all four rows of these. As I often have hundreds of videos in each library and adding new stuff all the time, so being able to navigate these libraries better is great. I could see having a fifth and six row that are Favorites and Most Played. If we could even create our own rows with our own criteria that would be even better but might be asking too much. Like for example highest bitrate or resolution or certain tags. Having collections tabs and stuff like you get in the movies section would also be cool. Edited September 30, 2025 by Roxics 1
