Live TV Guide time in Android Universal App does not update time/programs correctly

Just tested this on my Shield Pro…

In the AndroidTV when I close it and open it later, it shows the current time/programs in the guide…I can chose my channel and play. This is what I've been used to for years.

In the Android Universal app 3.5.04, when I close it and open it up later, it does NOT show the current guide time/program data…it shows the time from when I first opened it and I have to scroll through the guide to get to the correct time & current program. Thought I was going crazy lol, just assumed I was on the correct time/channel but it showed Record instead of Play...then I noticed the time/program was from earlier today!
