ramseyn 15 Posted September 28, 2025 Posted September 28, 2025 Hi Updated Emby on a Lockerstor 3 today to 4.9.0.70. On completion I tried to start Emby I just get a black screen with the Emby logo and a spinning blue circle. I cannot get into Emby to get logs. All was working fine on the older version. Help!

You can also find logs in the Emby folder it self.
ramseyn 15 Posted September 28, 2025 Author Posted September 28, 2025 Ok, but an update. I can use Emby on my phone - it looks like the server is running but the Emby client on the NAS itself is not working...

Try clearing the cache of the browser, a simple shift-ctrl-f5 does in most cases work also. Sadly the only advice i have.
ramseyn 15 Posted September 28, 2025 Author Posted September 28, 2025 Good point, I should have done that. I'll try other browsers too. Thanks for the reminder of things I should have thought of and didn't. 1

ramseyn 15 Posted September 29, 2025 Author Posted September 29, 2025 Still no joy using Emby on the PC. The only place to clear cache is the browser as the Emby client runs in the browser. But it did no good. However, I am now convinced it is indeed the browser that's the oriole, as suggested. Another computer with Win 10 instead of Win 11, works fine. I need to hook up another Win 11 PC and test ' and I forgot to try and different browser so I'll do that too. Thanks @yocker 1

ramseyn 15 Posted September 30, 2025 Author Posted September 30, 2025 Yes. But it was changing browser that made it work. That can't be an Emby thing because it worked fine in Edge before so I assume something onmh computer). On the other hand another computer with Edge did the same thing... 1
