That video doesn't show you signing in, just starting Emby. If you had Remember me on the initial login and unticked Use PIN at that time, it'll not ask you again as lomg as you don't sign out.

Log out from that user and then login again, you should see PIN prompt.

Yeah after signing out, it shows this but doesn't asks for pin

If i enter the password and username it logs in!Screenshot_2025-09-26-16-51-07-27_44afb15bb7fddf0c82da86f25534e5f4.thumb.jpg.2dcfc9218ff411ab955d396bc6234c74.jpgScreenshot_2025-09-26-16-51-30-34_44afb15bb7fddf0c82da86f25534e5f4.jpg.21b96c4d2180ea2b059f9393904ec5c9.jpg

Why would it ask you for a PIN if you've entered user/password? You've already identified yourself. It'll ask you for a PIN every subsequent time going forward, if you've clicked Yes there., as long as you remain signed in.

.... Setting a pin without setting a password is incredibly pointless.

All a person would have to do, on a device that's asking for your pin, is click sign-out, then re-enter your username to login without a password or pin.

All the pin does is allow you to return to a device you've already logged into without having to enter your password again. If there is no password, anyone can just immediately login from any device using just your username...

Hi, the pin is not a substitute for the initial password login process. The pin is used when you return to the app after you previously signed in.

This way if you're on a shared device it won't allow other household members to view your content. This is explained on the screen where you first setup the pin, right?

Yeah, but can you introduce a app lock too?

Do you mean that when you leave and come back, you want it to be locked? If that's what you mean, then that's exactly what the profile pin feature is for.
