Nelcruz 3 Posted September 25, 2025 Posted September 25, 2025 (edited) Hi, Im on the latest Windows server beta and the latest Emby app for iPhone. I am browsing and correcting my library, and every time I enter a movies to update art or fix a match, I have to start at the to of my library again. I know I can click on the letter on the side to speed things up, but it would be helpful if when we enter a library item and back out again it would remember the last position. It will remember if no change made. Thank you. Edited September 25, 2025 by Nelcruz Spelling 1
Luke 42077 Posted September 25, 2025 Posted September 25, 2025 HI, can you please describe your flow in more detail? Thanks.
Nelcruz 3 Posted September 25, 2025 Author Posted September 25, 2025 Yes, I have a library called Movies. I browse this library click on a movie to enter the information page. Then I press ... (More). Then I either press Edit Images and then select a new Primary Image, or I press Identify and search for a movie using title and year. No matter which, when the action is complete and I press the back arrow to return to the main library list, I am back to the top of the library. However, if I enter a library, then a specific item within the library, make no changes and back out again, it returns me to the point in the library I was browsing previously.
Solution baker_p 2 Posted October 22, 2025 Solution Posted October 22, 2025 This is most likely because the program updates the library view after editing metadata. In doing so, it resets the scroll position. This is normal behavior in the current version. Also, remembering the last position after editing will need to be added in a future update. 1
