Gilgamesh_48 1240 Posted September 24, 2025 Posted September 24, 2025 (edited) This is not a bug report or even a request for anything. It is simply just an observation. Whenever I press play the video starts but there is a slight delay before anything happens on the screen. The delay is neve more that 1-2 seconds but I remember the loading circle appearing sooner in the past. The time it takes for a video to actually start playing is VERY quick but there is a delay that i do not remember from before. It is just a slight delay but, if it is possible, something should show that a video is starting should appear more quickly. A couple of times already I have pressed "play" a second time before the video shows any indication of starting. That is not good but it is also not "life threatening." This is probably just a matter of learning new habits but it is a little off-putting at times. Thanks Edited September 24, 2025 by Gilgamesh_48
Luke 42077 Posted September 25, 2025 Posted September 25, 2025 HI, it could be that there's about a 300ms delay on the loading spinner to avoid having it flicker in cases where it does load near instantaneously.

That kind of makes sense. I guess that, even my old age, my fast twitch muscles must still be firing quite well if I can beat 300ms reaction when pushing a button. Maybe I should go on Jeopardy as they say that button pressing speed is more important than knowledge. 1
