ATV app will not allow to select and continue to watch show you backed out of until app is forced closed.

I have run into this problem with Apple TV Version 2.0.0 (4), after recently watching a show and hitting back to go to the home screen, I cannot restart the show by pressing the center button or play on the remote until I force close the app. I can select a show next to it, or another library, but clicking on the show I just left does nothing.

How repeatable is this? Does it happen after every show that you watch or just randomly? Is this a new problem?  By that I mean was it working correctly recently and this has just started occurring? If so, do you know what changed recently that may have caused this?

Can you please confirm your server version?

Server Version 4.9.1.35 beta, I am new to Emby, been using less than a week, but this has been repeatable for every show I have tried to watch and backed out of. Is there a way to grab Apple TV logs?

So since reporting this and switching to another series it hasn't done it on the new series. It has happen on the previous three series (all mkv containers with hevc video files,) I have watched though. "I feel like I'm taking crazy pills."

No worries. Something similar has been reported once before but I was never able to reproduce it. So I’m not surprised it’s a bit random for you.

It happen again with the new series, tv was off for an hour, I powered it on, watched one episode and then it did it. When I can determine the steps or a pattern to reproduce I'll come back.

So for me this issue has been happening after I hit the play button on the remote and start a series, when I get to the end or it starts the next episode and a few seconds in I will hit back on the remote, bringing me to the home screen and continue watching, then I will not be able to resume the episode. 

Watch episode, at the end hit "<" and clicking on the episode with select or play to resume, does nothing.
